Our mission is to help Wide Receivers and Quarterbacks get to the next level. We focus on giving our athletes the best access to expand their football IQ, improve their technique and mechanics while also becoming better overall football players. Football is the greatest team sport on the planet and we believe it should be available to everyone. We want to help anyone who is willing to unlock the best version of themselves.
Train with us
Our Coaching platform offers a wide variety of tools to help you become a better football player. You will receive a new training schedule every month that is designed to improve every aspect of your game over the course of an offseason as well as during the season. We will help you with remote coaching that feels like you are right there on the field with us. The tools of the platform allow us to communicate with you throughout the week and analyse any recording you share with us, furthermore we can share videos where we can customly show you how to execute a certain drill or exercise.

Coach
Ian Gehrke
For as long as I can remember, my life has revolved around one thing: football. As the son of Siegfried “Siggi” Gehrke, co-founder and long-time coach of the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns, I grew up with football and started playing myself at the age of 9.In my 18-year career, I have played football in various places: from my early days in the Unicorns youth program, to my two years playing high school football in Maine (USA), to my stints in the GFL (Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns), the ELF (Berlin Thunder), and most recently in the AFL with the Salzburg Ducks.My biggest advantage throughout my career has always been that I learned two positions from a young age: Wide Receiver and Quarterback. This allowed me to get to know both perspectives of the passing game and ultimately gave me a better understanding of what each position demands of the other.
Early on in my career, while still playing, I gained experience not only as a player but also as a coach. As wide receiver coach for the Unicorns U20 team, and later as quarterback coach, passing game coordinator, and head coach of the U17 team, I knew quite early on what I wanted to do after my active career: coaching. This only became more solidified when I was given the great opportunity to take on the position of head coach of the Unicorns Academy in 2023.With Simbathletics, I am now fulfilling a long-held dream: founding my own coaching platform. I want to help train a new generation of players, actively shape the professionalization of football in Germany, and pass on my knowledge of the best sport in the world to others!
